Court Waiting Room

I had an hour wait at the court house
the other day and did some sketches in the waiting room. These
were done with a Staedtler
Pigment Liner waterproof pen then watercolored at home.

My new pen arrived a little
dry but I managed to do a few sketches with it.

ATCs
I
took an artist trading card class at Stamping
Details in Poway. It's a VERY fun store.
Do you know what ATCs are? They are cards made by artists for trade.
There are a few rules that apply to the ATCs.
Rule
number 1: They must be 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches.
Rule number 2: They must not be sold. They are traded in person.
I
have never been to an ATC meeting but they have one at Stamping Details
where artists can get together to trade cards with other artists. The
cards done in the class were done with printed material and inks but
I have started watercolor painting a few cards. I'm not sure who I will
trade with though.

"North County Sketch and Paint"
This
month we went to Poway Lake for our sketch and paint out. I did a few
tiny sketches for ATCs and drew something for my daily journal entry.
I love fall, not just because of the trees changing colors, after all
I live in California. It's the weather. It's so nice and crisp, yet
the sun still shines. Yes, Theresa, fall is DEFINITELY, my favorite
season.
It was the first day of the fishing season and there
were TONS of people fishing.

Leaves
from Poway Lake taped in my journal.
