EDM - Draw something porcelain or ceramic.

This is my entry for Every Day Matters (EDM) This chicken sat in my family's kitchen for a trillion years. It has a partner but it got packed away when we had to evacuate for a fire and I couldn't find the rooster for this drawing. This porcelain object holds fond memories of my mother and her kitchen, I mean chicken.

Blue

This is my entry for Illustration Friday. The subject is BLUE.

When I was in my early 20s I would draw my self portraits blue.
Thank God this isn't me.
This is not a self portrait and I am not blue!

If you liked the posting of the drawing of the eagle in progress, you really need to check this out The Drawing Of a Woman.

Beginning Book Binding: Princess

This is a book I made at a beginning bookbinding class at Cool Scrapbook Stuff. It was from a kit by 7 Gypsies. There are 3 signatures that make 6 pages each. A total of 18 pages in the book and each set of signatures starts with a tab: "adorable", "cute", and "sassy". It's hard to see the pages in my photos.

Rancho Bernardo Winery

"We" had our monthly paint out at the Rancho Bernardo Winery today but I was the only one there. I painted the gourds and pumpkins on an old cart full of hay. I saw a good friend of mine there and a stranger came by and chatted with me for quite a while. It was a great day!
