Paint Out Friday, April 7, 2006

The next North County Society of Fine Arts Sketch and Paint Out will be on Friday April 7, 2006 from 9:30 - 12:00 p.m. at the Belle Marie Winery in Escondido. The directions are very easy. Take 15 north, Off on Deer Springs Rd. exit. Turn Left. (West). Turn left on Mesa Rock Road. Pass the Plant World Nursery. Entrance to the winery is on the right side.

Inside the tasting room is a small exhibit of watercolors by Pat Brussels, and a very nice proprietor named Mary. Pat's watercolors are very bold, colorful pieces of the surrounding area. I posted a few pics of some of the scenes you can expect at the winery.

Art Reception

Yesterday was the reception for the San Diego Hospice Art Show. I sold 2 pieces! The show runs through April 29, 2006 at the San Diego Hospice and Palliative Care, 4311 Third Avenue, San Diego, CA. I got to see tons of family and friends at the reception. A great reunion! Thank you to all that attended. It really meant a lot to me.
